Sofar Solar Guide (www.sofarsolarstore.co.uk) is operated by Turbine Marketing Ltd trading as Turbine Energy, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 08530306), registered address Wader Lodge, Back Lane, Cusworth, Doncaster DN5 7TR. Turbine Energy is the data controller for the personal data you send through this site.

When you send an enquiry through Find an installer, we collect:

• your name, email address and phone number
• your postcode, whether the enquiry is for a home or business, and your business name if relevant
• what you are interested in, any product page you came from, and anything you write in the message box
• the address of the page you sent the form from and the website that referred you, if any

We use your details to contact you about your enquiry, arrange a survey if you want one, and prepare a quote. We do not use your details for automated decision-making, and we do not sell them.

We do not pass your details to SOFAR or anyone else for marketing. If you go on to buy a SOFAR system, we may share the details needed to register your product warranty with SOFAR.

Under UK GDPR we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries you send us, and, where you ask for a survey or quote, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

• Our customer records system, where your enquiry is stored as a lead (hosted by Supabase).
• An email copy of your enquiry to our team (sent via Resend).
• This website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address.

This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, in line with Turbine Energy's main privacy policy.

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
